Geo-Spatial Survey Solutions specialise in providing Dimensional Control services on behalf of engineering design consultancies and fabricators.

Our expertise can be used throughout the build strategy commencing at the conceptual design, which during refurbishments and upgrades is often based upon old 2D drawings or original design 3D models. Neither of which

accurately represent the existing as-built structure.

In order to refine the conceptual design we can provide accurate 3D information for the following :-

· Pipe work tie in points

· Face of flange errors

· Bolt hole rotations

· Pipe support locations

· Vessel locations

· Steel work tie in points

· Proposed pipe route clash detection.

During fabrication fit up surveys of pipe spools or steelwork may be

required as a quality assurance check and to assist the fabricator.

Upon weld completion pipe spools or steelwork sub-assemblies are

surveyed for final acceptance and analysed to prevent the accumulation of acceptable fabrication tolerances. Final closing components are adjusted

dimensionally at fit up stage to ensure all components FIT FIRST TIME.
